The leaflets that Cide85 posted have inspired me to take more organized pics of my fakie collection ;D So here are pics of my fakies sorted into groups. As you can see I haven't yet found the time to groom all of them. Also, I left out some of the fakies I don't like that much, like fake Remco fakies and fake Chap Mei fakies, but I will add them later.
Judging from the leaflet pics, these all seem to be vintage Simba fakies. I'm not sure if the two blue ones and the yellow baby on the left belong here as well. (Tootsie-pose has no symbol.) Also, I wonder if the veil/dress in front of the bride is from Simba (and does belong to the bride) or from Euro Toys because from the leaflet pics I can tell mine is the same as the Euro Toys one but I can't see if Simba's is the same...
This doggy is also in the Simba leaflet as a 'Beauty Friend'.
Looking at the leaflets, these seem to be vintage Euro Toys fakies. Not sure about the diaperina's though because the ones in the leaflet don't have rainbow hair (but do have the eyeshadow).
Buddy L's (vintage)
Some Hasbro inspired fakies of which I'm not sure if they are vintage or modern. Does anyone know if the two Merry-Go-Round fakies belong together? Also, are DG babies kind of see-through? This one is, and I got it from Germany so I doubt it's from Dollar General.
Then, a group of random fakies of which I don't whether they're vintage, don't know what company made them and don't know if some belong in a set...
Fakies that were in stores in my childhood (I'm from 1988): Tara Toys fakies, fake Tara Toy fakie (pink one) and two fakies marked 'M.I.I.'.
Modern fakies that resemble the vintage Simba fakies. Please tell me if you know what sets these belong in!!
Modern fakies actually made by Simba
Other modern fakies. Please tell mw if you know what sets they belong in!
G3 fakies
And last but not least, fakie Pony Friends!
(Knotty Kitty you can put this pic on your wantlist! Or if you're interested, I'm willing to sell/trade the yellow kitty)
Hope you enjoyed! ;D
