This is what you get for not looking here often enough!
And yes! It's a glow-in-the-dark, evil-eyed, soul-eating Sunshine Pony that could soon be mine!!!
So, being the resident Sunshine Pony hoarder, and probably expert, it's about time I start working on a thread for them. This is definitely a work in progress, I have much to learn, but I thought I would go ahead and start getting the word out there.
Sunshine Ponies... How do I know that is what they are called?
I found a MIB pic of one in the fakie section of My Little Pony Collectors
They come with many different variations. Some have yarn hair, some have nylon hair, some have precious moments style eyes, some have crazy eyes, some have painted saddles, some do not. I've even seen one I believe to have flocking...
Here is what I can show you so far.
A picture stolen from ebay on a lot I did not win, but the picture that made me fall in love with Sunshine Ponies and vow to collect all I could find.
I finally have collected my first yarn-haired, precious moments-eyed, painted saddled one.
These are probably US release and are made of very nice plastic.
Next up we have ones that are exactly the same as before, but with nylon hair.
Group shot of the "Precious-Moments-Eyed" ones.
Notice that the above pictured ponies all have forelocks. This is not so with the next set I will show you.
These are made of a rougher plastic, and so far mine have come from Europe. Notice the lack of forelock, non-painted saddle, and yarn hair... well, now one with nylon hair and non-colored eyes.
There are also some other weirdos that have symbols and rainbow hair (among other things) !
The one on the left you can tell is made in a totally different mold, the one second from the left is *glow-in-th-dark* !!
Here are all the remaining, unorganized pictures of ones I have, have ever seen, or am currently trying to get my sneaky hooves on.
Glow in the dark...
I am purchasing one like the one on the far left in this pic. I have yet to see any like the other two.
See? Flocking!
Here are some group shots of what I currently have (although I'm working on getting two more to me as we type).
So guys... There is still more to come!
