*dances around* The mailman was good to me today! Princess Rinse N Spit arrived from Pinkchicken22 on the Arena, and I'm frikkin thrilled to have her for my collection. Pink gave her to me for just shipping costs, which was so generous of her. If that's not enough awesome for you, check this out! When she mailed out PRnS, Pink added another free fakie to the envelope "to keep PRnS company". Here she is.... I've never seen a fakie in Baby Cotton Candy's pose before. :3 As you can see, she's had a hard life. Her hair is trashed and she's covered in stains and paint smudges. I'll see what I can do with some acetone, Magic Erasor, and sunfading. Since she's white, it shouldn't be too hard to get her looking nice again. Her most obvious fakie trait is her severely off-centered tail. It's so bad that I'm considering making a new hole in the correct place and moving it. Since her tail is so thin, the existing hole is small enough that I think it would bug me less than having her tail all the way off to the side. Either way, though, she's adorable. <3

What luck! And that was so sweet of her to just charge shipping and to throw the baby in... the fakies in G1 poses are so darling, and I've never seen a baby in that pose, either. Does she have any markings on her hooves? I hope you can get the poor thing tidy again! I'm not sure about moving the tail... it could just be another one of those oddities that makes fakies endearing. If it drives you nuts, though, go for it. Regardless, awesome haul! Those are a couple of awesome ponies.

Does she have any markings on her hooves? Just "Made In" on one rear hoof and "China" on the other.

Congrats on those KK! I *think* you are correct that the baby is a fakie. Is she super squishy? I'm pretty sure, if she says... Wait... No, you're right, "made in china" i believe is the fakie. If you want to be super sure post your pics in the Nirvana forum on the arena.

Yeah, I'm sure she's a fakie. No "Hasbro" stamp on her anywhere. Also, it's hard to see it in the photo, but her body has all these dents all over it that look more like factory errors than dents from being in a box with other toys or something. There's also a flap of extra plastic around her neck, and of course her thin, off-centered tail. She's a bit squishy, but I've seen worse.
I noticed that most of the paint on her is in those little dents, which makes me wonder if she was a full-body repaint experiment, then was cleaned up with acetone.
EDIT: Wait, I don't know enough about Nirvanas. They still have a Hasbro stamp, right...?

Nope. they do not always have a stamp. Ones made in Argentina and Mexico quite often have absolutely no marking on their feet at all, along with many other countries. If is says "Made In China" That's actually a good tip that it is a fakie. The Hasbro mold for Baby Blossom's pose has all four feet marked and actually says "Hong Kong" (that was before Hasbro switched factories). If there is any other country marked on the bottom of the feet for a pony in that pose, it is the country it originated from. There were no "Made in China" nirvanas. You would see things like Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, France, Italy, Macau, Mexico, Peru, Spain... There are ponies made in other countries, but some counrties, like Greece, I don't believe marked the country of make on any of their molds. I could be wrong though and just having a giant brain fart. If you want to know how much I know about Nirvanas, here's a start... [ETA] I'll go ahead and state my opinion. I think what you have there is one of the coloring ponies. They also had ones in Baby Surprise's pose as well as little sheep (the mold for fleecy i think is the name) and maybe one other. They came without symbols, but with coloring things, you were meant to color on them yourself (hence all the colored on marks on your little lady). I would have to go digging to get the MOC pics, I don't think I saved them. However, with that said, I think the ones in Baby Blossom's pose are the least common of these, and probably most sought after.

Coloring ponies? I've never heard of those. If you come across that MOC pic it would be awesome....now I'm super curious about my little freebie's origins!
Maybe I'll post her on the Arena too, to see if anyone there knows anything else about her.

Oh yes, they do know quite a bit about here there, but I would recommend the Nirvana forum, she has shown up a few times in there. I specifically remember a green one from, umm, TSU? I think... Anyway, they are quite knowledgeable, the Pony Corral isn't so much...

Wow, HUGE congrats on a gorgeous PRnS and such a wonderful extra - I can't wait to see what she looks like when you've restored her! Here's a pic of the Colouring babies MOC, stolen from Pebblesmore's Fakie Safari Tour: As you can see, both in Baby Surprise and Blossom poses. I'm agreeing with Shelle's expertise that the paint they come with probably explains the paint on your cutie. I just recieved the adorable Surprise-pose one from the too-awesome Colourscapesart before I took off for the airport on Wednesday, but I believe from peering at her that 'Made in China' was on the underside of the hooves, in the same type of font/text that Hasbro used. When I get home I'll take a closer look and some photos for you, I promise!

Those clouring fakies are adorable! I wish they were easier to find, what cute ponies to have in a fakie collection! The little pink baby surprise pose one is too adorable skimble! Baby CC pose is a sweet pose too, although the DG babies are cute, its nice to see some other baby fakies in different moulds.

It's like a faded orange-ish color and the hear is brown. Yup. Brown. Who thought that was a good idea for a little girl's toy? I would absolutely LOVE to have one in Baby Blossom's pose someday. *sigh*
