I have one of the yellow baby ladies with yellow hair and a pineapple symbol. Would it be horrible to customize her? I know baby ladies are sold with the Walgreens set and I don't get the sense that she is particularly rare, but I wanted to see what everyone else thought. Her hair is pretty thin and frizzy.

I'd say it's "safe" personally.

I think Skimble is the resident expert on Lady Babies, but she's been busy lately and hasn't had much time to log on.
I want to say that the pineapple ones are from an older release than the ones currently on shelves, but I'm not sure.
BTW Zainin, I just noticed that you have a Dethklok song on your playlist. That's awesome. I actually went all the way to Vegas a couple years ago to see Brendon play those songs live. New CD coming out in November, I think.

Only vintage Lady Babies are rare (at least here in EU), so the pineapple one should be safe to customise. That being said, I always think you should offer a fakie for sale if you don't like to customise something other collectors need If you don't bother selling her unless she's a rare pony, Go for it!

*pokes head in* Yeah, I'm alive, on occasion... She's not a current in-store release, but she isn't exactly hard to find, either. Any non-vintage (AU/UK/Euro release) Lady Baby is generally reasonably common and safe to bait, the only exceptions being some UK/Scandinavian releases. US Lady Babies, though, are almost universally safe to bait.

New CD coming out in November, I think. I'm a big metal fan. =P Dethklok's pretty good for being a novelty act on a cartoon show. Gene Hoglan's in the non-fictional band- he's the drummer from SYL (Strapping Young Lad). Ironic part is I don't really like death metal that much... double ironic is despite that my favourite band is a melodic death band.

I didn't think she was rare, but I wanted to be sure. I guess it's just tempting right now to customize anything. I've been helping my sister get ready for the MLP fair and only had time to do a couple of my own customs, so have been itching to do something artsy.

This may sound like a silly question but please bear in mind i am new to the world of fakies....how can you tell the difference??? The reason I ask is because i planned on creating beautiful set of customs with this mold. I have a bunch of the lady babies for this reason.
