I'll admit it. I never watched the MLP TV series as a kid. *dodges thrown Core 7* I was, however, obcessed with unicorns for most of my childhood, so to this day I'm a HUGE fan of The Last Unicorn and the old-school anime Unico in the Isle of Magic. If you've never heard of the Unico movies (trilogy?) then you can check them out on YouTube if you're so inclined. If you've never heard of The Last Unicorn, then you might be in the wrong hobby. I am the proud owner of TLU on both VHS and DVD (found the DVD at Walmart for $9.99!), two TLU t-shirts, and the book, of course. I have plans to make a Unicorn custom (lol, who hasn't) and have a long eBay list of TLU lighters, cigarette cases, t-shirts...even socks!...that I hope to aquire someday. As an adult, I of course like Legend because it has some very nicely-done (for it's day) unicorns. If you didn't cry when the unicorn died, you have no soul. And, of course, there's the web super-hit Charlie the Unicorn. If you haven't seen Charlie yet, go check it out right now on YouTube. There's three episodes (watch them in order!) and each is pretty short, around five minutes. Apparently Adult Swim on Cartoon Network (the night-time timeslot that shows adult cartoons) tried to pick up the series, but Charlie's creator is making enough money of merchandise and such that he declined the offer. So....discuss unicorn/pony movies! What did you like as a kid? What do you like now? Have any recommendations? I'm bored! Amuse me!

I can't really think of any other movies, although I have this annoying feeling there is something else I'm forgetting... (Ah, I so need to get TLU on DVD: our version is taped off the TV about ... oh, sixteen years ago? I'm not too sure it even works still!) My sister and I loved the Rainbow Brite TV show as a kid, though, if Starlight counts. But as a kid, most of my unicorn fix was from books. ETA: I know what movie I was thinking of, although it's new. Stardust, of course! The only movie that can survive a boy-band song in the credits and STILL be awesome...

I cant remember any other unicorn movies from when I was a kid, I was pretty mainstream with what I watched, MLP & care bears! lol! Oh and TMNT of course Charlie seems like a bit of a short fuse hey XD I couldnt bring myself to watch it all, the blue & pink unicorns annoyed me more than the G3 MLP shows did, all they do is wander around annoying charlie & the only word I think I heard them say was 'charlie'

To this day Legend has been the only movie I can stand with the couch jumper himself, Mr. Cruise
Not unicorn...but still pony/horsey related...but I always & still cry when Artax drowns in the swamp in The Never Ending Story. I remember FFWD past that part because it traumatized me so much when I was younger.

I used to watch this show called the Silver Brumby, it was a little aussie show about wild horses, it was quite cool. There are books also.

I remember FFWD past that part because it traumatized me so much when I was younger. Oh god, I remember that. >_< It's been ages since I saw that movie, and now I remember why. I bawled at that part. It's wierd...I can watch movies with humans dying all day long, and it barely affects me. But when they kill off an animal....oh man. Break out the tissues.

I used to watch this show called the Silver Brumby, it was a little aussie show about wild horses, it was quite cool. There are books also. I devoured everything by Elayne Mitchell as a kid! Moon Filly was my favourite book, ever, although all her Brumby books were just awesome. The TV series was cute, but not nearly as good as the books. And the movie was just a massive disapointment, IMO. Not enough about the horses!
