Yaay, there was a package waiting on the PO for me ^_^ Jesper picked it up for me today, it's been there since Saturday! *gasp* Here's the highlights; Purple G3 fakie The company even had the nerve to use the MLPmold directly! They even copied the magnet-part, LOL! Made in 2002.. I don't think that's true I love this set, even though the fakie is a tad cheaper; stolen artwork; And some more *giggles* This cute girl has crickets on her bum! That is way too cute <3 although the pose make her look like she's taking a dump, LOL Yesterday my AU lot arrived - here's the highlights... Full of ink on one site and a replaced tail! I can't decide whether it is cute or I need to rehair her anyway.. It's just so cute that a girl loved this pony so much it had to have a new tail! *melts* I love her despite her flaws, and maybe the ink can be faded Gorgeous white pony; The best part is, that I'm now the proud owner of not one, but THREE rearing fakies! *faint* (purple haven't been cleaned yet) I hope to add more to my collection. Vinyl, both rearing and sitting along with SHS fakies & circus lovelies are my favorite fakies. I also received these three babies in various packages, the blue with multicolored hair is going to live with Skimble and her very own mother! The other two looks like good candidates for being vinyl fakies' babies.. *ponders* I hope you like the pictures!

You find such great fakies! I would definitely try sunfading the marks on the rearing fakie--blue marks respond especially well to sunfading, in my experience. She would look great rehaired in blue.

I spend too much time trying to find fakies *blush* but it's all so worth it when they arrive I'll try sunfading on her - too bad the weather's been dull for a week around here. We never get much sun anyways! If I were to rehair her, I'd probably go for pink as she originally have But blue would match those eyes so lovely!

Vette, I've been intrigued for a while about the solid-coloured newborns (my sister owns one, although I don't, sadly) and wondering how they were sold (by themselves, presumeably) and what they were intended to be. There's a fakie theory post waiting to be written about it, but the babies of the Vinyl Ponies (or, the matte-coloured Dream Ponies) are as good a guess as any!
Congrats on your terrific haul, it's just fantastic! *applauds* Your fakie collection is just amazing.
And thank you soooo much for that blue baby! *dies*

Thanks, Kim! I have another theory, that they might have been sold 2 and 2, but def. more about that later when I make a post worth reading(or eyeballing, LOL) in the fakie love Looking forward to read your theories! I have loads of these coming, in all sorts of colors, and I'd love to pair them with a mom <3

It would be interesting to find out how the babies were sold, they look like they belong with those adults though for sure.

Well, we know there's a precedent for babies being sold seperately that 'match' the colour schemes of existing adults, whether or not they were meant to be paired up or not - so I don't see how these babies are any different.
Yeah, by 'themselves' I meant just the babies (not with an adult) but there's a pretty good chance they were sold in sets/pairs, I totally agree with you...

That first G3 fakie is hilarious in the fact it even has the MLP mold! Wow!!! The G3 fakies are growing on me. I've only run across 3 sparkles, though.

I think G3 fakies (except sparkle fakies) are easiest to find in Europe and Australia, NZ and the like - at least that's where most of mine comes from!
