This board is a place for everyone to post their most-wanted fakies! However, though, fakies are notoriously hard to categorise (it would be so much easier if they had actual names to list!) so here's a few recommendations in creating your wishlist to help out our fellow fakie-hunters:
DO include a photo of the actual fakie in question wherever you possibly can. Even the blurry photo saved on ebay is a great help!
DO include links to the appropriate pages/photos on websites like Ahrian's Fabulous Fakie Guide, Pebblesmore's Fakie Safari Tour, the My Little Fakie community on LJ and The MLP Fakie Project. Giving the fakie-hunters some photographic indication of what kind/type of fakie you're after makes the quest much easier ... especially when not all fakie-hunters are familiar with the terminology. (Have a fakie guide that should be linked here? PM skimble with the URL!)
When the above fails you, DO include a detailed description of the fakie type and appearance you are after. Being able to describe body colour, pose type, manufacturer, symbol and hair colour will make searching much easier for us.
DO try and create something like a wish-gallery instead of large wishlists/descriptions - for example, a photobucket album containing pics saved from the internet (ebay, fakie websites, etc) of the exact fakies you're after. (Preferably circled or marked somehow, in the case of ebay photos featuring lots of ponies.)
DO link to an album containing pics of the fakies you own in the case of wanting a particular or general type of fakie (for example, if you're just after Circus Babies - there are at least thirty known variants of these, so we need to know what you already own!).
Thank you for taking the time to read - hopefully this will help make the fakie hunt easier for us all!
