I'm in a wierd mood - not content, nor discontent. I finished paintwork on a custom, and I am quite proud - but her hair doesn't match it at all, being regular Sunny Daze colors.. It doesn't go with halloween at all! I don't have the patience to rehair

No! Dye the hair! Seriously, I've done it on several now. I did a purple in Scootaloo's hair (had intended to make a Halloween custom) and she ended up as an orange pony with dark purple and fuschia striped hair. Two of my favorite colors o.O I ended up not even painting on her because she was too pretty to be a Halloween pony! LOL!

I can't afford dye, Shelle, I'm poorer than our rats at the moment. Thanks for the advice though! Which kind of dye did you use? Ace, if it wasn't for the hair being so smooth and lovely, I would've. LOL. I love mohawks, but I can't waste that hair! Knotty > You'll see, once I get a couple of piccies taken

You can use anything for dye; food coloring, kool-aid, easter egg coloring, fabric dye, all things that you may either already have around or that you can pick up from the store for cheap. I've never paid more than $2 for a color of dye.

*faints* Around here, fabric dye costs 10-15$ a piece.

Blech. Do yall have food coloring or kool-aide then? If you don't know, kool-aide is just a flavored drink that comes in a very small packet, costs less than $0.50 here because you have to add the sugar later. I used it to repink my first Posey and several other ponies after that.

Food coloring yes, but only red, green and blue (nope, not even yellow anymore, LOL!)... Never heard of Kool-aide.. Maybe I shuld just shell out the money for dye when I can afford it

If you do a trade or sale with someone in another country, maybe you can have them throw in some dye or even Kool-Aid mix? My guess is that Kool-aid hasn't caught on in most European countries. It's an artificially-flavored, artificially colored drink mix. When I was in Germany the local people didn't like their food shot through with bright colors and fake flavors like many Americans do! I'm surprised at how much dye costs, though.

We have artificially flavoured "lemonade", a brand called "Fun" - and other off-brands, of course. It's liquid, though, and you add 9 part water per 1 part Fun. But it's true, around here there's many who are not fond of E-numbers and othr chemicals in the food - I don't think too much about it, because I ate it all bein a child, LOL - but if I had children today I would avoid it Come to think of it, my childhood neighboor worked on the military base in town here, and she always had some of the stuff they would get when doing excercise, and some of it were powdery drinks! I remember tasting it, even, it was sooo good! <3 It was a great idea, doing a trade - thanks for the advice!

Mmmm, Kool-aide. I like the green flavor. Yeah, here in the US that stuff is so common it's rediculous. Back when I was a kid, a few of my friends dyed their hair with it. (It's a temporary dye when used on human hair, and washes out after a few showers.) I've also heard of people using it to color their pets.....for Halloween or whatever, I guess. Or even for those wacky poodle-grooming contests.

I'm gonna double-post because it's been weeks since that last post. *hits self with modstick*
I just lit up a cigarette. It wasn't hitting right, drawing in too much air. I examined it, and sure enough, there's a big puncture in the side of the filter. I looked at the box, and there's tiny teeth marks all over it. Stupid kitten. XP
(Can you tell I'm bored and don't have anything interesting to say?)
