Hey well I've been on the Arena for some time, and regularly lurk the TP, but thought I'd join up here after getting some fakies that peaked my interest. Yes, I gave them away, threw them away, practiced my awful customizing skills on soo many innocent victims, and avoided them like the plague... but now I have my own little fakie collection. I.. just.. can't.. deny them any longer. They say the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, right?? Thanks for having me here! I hope to learn more about the fakies I have, and others I don't... I am terribly interested in the Totsy fakies... but I don't currently own any. Wanted to know more about some Fakies I've recently acquired... posted at the Arena...

Hey and welcome, Bebedasha! It's nice to have you here I'm in love with the white styling fakie you have - it is simply adorable! There was also released a smaller version; Like the size of a baby G3, perhaps on the small side.

Hi! Yeah, I found the little version in a store... but it costs more than the large one I have!! It's in the same pose as the green one you pictured. I want it, but gosh, five bucks?? LOL Do you know anything about the supposed Buddy L fakies. (Do I have this right... they are fakies of fakies???) LOL

What, 5$ each? *faints* I'm glad mine were free, lol! There are indeed fakies of fakies Your black talking pony fakie is a groom, sold with a bride and two lady babies if I'm not mistaken. Take a look in Skimbles brilliant Fakie Guide; fakie-goddess.livejournal.com/6387.htmlThere's also a little about them in Knottys awsome ID fakie guide - stickied in the Fakie Love

I don't believe my "Groom" talks... he is a man of few words! He also has the 'real' eyes deeply set into his head. I had wanted to take him apart, but had a change of heart. I think I may have found his Bride, but I am not sure if that's her or not... she's cute nonetheless

No, the pose is referred to as "Talking Pony Pose" - not that he talks It seems to be his bride you found, what a coincidence! Huge congrats!

i just looked at your fakies and the close up of the black fakie actually made me gasp... the eyes are so creepy, i love it! Hahahaahaha LOL That's too funny... I kinda did the same thing the first time I saw it. Could you imagine being a kid and receiving this guy??? LOL It is a total coincidence! Two different stores, not to mention I've never seen these before, and I've seen A LOT of fakies, even the different colored ones like these two, but never a black and white one .

Welcome! ^_^ Your story sounds so much like many of ours.....it starts with disliking fakies, then you get a couple you like, and it's all over from there. Here's what the bride looks like, since you mentioned you think you've found one. It's so nice to see another Totsy fan! There's not very many of us, lol.

Yup, that's them alright! Wow, your's are so... nice looking! I can see the Groom originally had very long hair like the Bride... My Groom had medium length hair when I got him and the ends were sooo frizzy I had to trim them off to improve his display-ability! Were these two UK release only? I hear that they're quite common in the States (which is where I am). I got the Groom by accident... he was in a bag of MLP, which I routinely buy and re-donate whatever I don't want from the bag. I was very close to re-donating the Groom, but something told me to keep him! I'm glad I did! And yes, when I find Totsies, I am going to go nuts! I love them!

Hello! I don't know what your problem is, though, since I happen to be sitting in a room full of fakies, so maybe this isn't the best place to come for your recovery! You're so lucky to get both the bride and groom! Now we've just got to hunt down the ringbearer and the flower girl (at least, that's what I assume the babies are) and you're all set to go! A huge welcome to you, I just know you're going to have a blast.

The new (current, in-store Scandinavian releases look like this): (Thank Vette for the photo!) The late 90s/early 2000s wedding set ponies, of course, aren't pearly, but I believe the black baby is the black Lady in this photo. It may or may not have white or blue hair, I'm honestly not a hundred percent sure: The white Lady baby is the girl in this photo (sorry for the darkness!) There might also be a white Lady baby that matches this set without pink symbols. I think Vette might know more about the earlier release of the wedding set, so hopefully she can give you more info about the babies!
