Maynard James Keenan, singer of the bands Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer. I'm pretty obcessed with him. I'm gonna get to go to a Tool concert in about a month and a half, so I'm pretty psyched about that.

Volbeat, Dream Theater, Nightwish (with the original front singer), Disturbed, APC, Sort Sol (danish love, lol), Crossfade (especially the song Starless, there's nothing like that song to make me draw my emotions out).
Edited because I remembered a name wrong!

Disturbed is pretty good. I've got two or three of their CDs, and saw them live once. (Twice? Maybe twice...I think they were at this multi-band music festival one year, but I can't recall for sure.)
My ex is completely obcessed with Dream Theater, lol. So I've heard a lot of their stuff too, though I can't seem to think of any specific songs off the top of my head.

"Your musical compatibility with cannibalcow is Very Low" Man, I've only ever seen one person that didn't have low or very low compatibility with me and it was some random guy, not any of my friends. =P

Lots of Euro metal. Lots of it! Dark Tranquillity, Equilibrium, Amorphis, Kamelot, Insomnium, Eluveitie, Enslaved, Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Leaves' Eyes, Epica, Wintersun, Turisas, Ayreon ... anything, really, if it's a teensy bit melodic...
Vette, my favourite DT song is 'In the Name of God' from Train of Thought. (I like their more-metal albums, LOL.)
(Totally OT, but I so need to get a last.fm account one day...)

Equally off topic, but. Don't ever try to go to a Leaves' Eyes concert, man. Every time I've ever gone to a concert they were expected to be at, they never showed. It doesn't upset me a bit because I don't like them (I prefer black metal to most things) but my best friend\roomie had taken two days off work and invested a lot of money into coming to the last one they were expected to be at with me only to find out they weren't there when we arrived, and she didn't like any of the other bands. It was not the happy night it should have been.

I'll just enjoy Liv's voice on the DVD. It would be massively disapointing, though, to rock up if they didn't show!

Geez, I haven't even heard of most of these bands or musicians. I feel so old... (twenty-one going on eighty-five, that's me).
I used to listen almost exclusively to classic rock (Beatles, The Who, Bread, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Simon and Garfunkel, Eric Clapton--I've seen Clapton, The Who, Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, and The Police in concert, although I hated Sting). Then there're some of the other older bands... Talking Heads, They Might Be Giants, Styx, Journey, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, a-ha. Um. Lots of showtunes and soundtracks (I'm currently on a Repo! The Genetic Opera kick) and some random things. I adore Celtic Thunder (I saw them in concert, too)... Mesh, Magna Canta, Nightwish, ThouShaltNot, Vienna Teng.
In short, I suppose, I listen to most everything that isn't currently popular or terribly mainstream. *dork*

Dont worry Veda, I cant recall their names, but have listened to some of it (through kim) I like it, but I have a broad taste in music, and listen to just about any genre.
At the moment ive got a major crush on the gossip's Beth Ditto - what a voice! Seriously, and she has a pretty face too.
Here are a few that I can think of - Cher Pink Floyd Linkin Park ZZ top Sevendust ACDC Lady Gaga Limp Bizkit Pink - She is also seriously hot
Pretty much anything old / new / metal / rap / techno / house / pop ect.
wont listen to opera, classical & jazz, that sh*t does my head in seriously - I cant tolerate it.

Good picks, Veda.
Besides my Maynard obcession, I like hippie music, stoner music, classic rock, and some newer rock too.
