I have no idea which ones are valuable. I'm with you though, Kaoskat... I like the old ones better. I found a whole petshop full of vintage LPS at the Salvation Army the other day, and I wish I had the room to keep them. *clings to childhood LPS sets*

The old ones were actually like tiny little pets. The new ones are cute, but really, it's difficult to pretend you really have real teeny pets with those. I mean most of them don't even have cages!

Yeah, I definately like the old-style better. The new ones are cute, too, but....I dunno. It's like the G4 ponies. They're kinda cute in their own way, but they're very different from original MLP.

Even tho I find some Pullips and Blythes to be cute I probably would not get one unless it was a mini since larger dolls just don't appeal to me.

I collect doujinshi and animation cels. I do have one cel from the My Little Pony cartoon, hee hee. I'm more than happy to show off both of these collections.
I also collect ball joint dolls, somewhat. I make dolls of my characters from my writing. XD

I also collect ball joint dolls, somewhat. ORLY? Which ones do you have? I've got a Soom Gena, Dollzone Wing, and Dollzone Jing living with me, plus my boyfriend's two boys. (One of which is for sale....know anyone who wants to buy an Elfdoll Red?)

I have an Angell-Studio Abel in Pink, my character Nigel. They actually don't make the pink colour any more. They replaced it with a new resin called Milk Pinky. My roommate has a doll in their Milk Pinky, so I could take a comparison photo sometime. XD
I also have two Angell-Studio heads awaiting bodies; their Kana head, which will become my character Nozomi, and their limited edition Christmas head, which will become my character Avon. I'm saving up for particularly expensive Luts doll to be my character Mamoruno after I body Nozomi and Avon. XD

oh lord I have so many freaking collections..I swear..it's like i was meant to marry a dragon (that's what my husband's character is) because I HOARDE things. oh my god....However, I am paring things down as i have too much STUFF and not enough apartment...lol. These are the main things that I will never give up collecting tho:
Ponies Breyers Unicorns Red Pandas Cats Ugly/Interesting Owls anything that has to do with Geisha. I've been obsessed with them since I was a child!
I also seem to have a pretty impressive collection of art supplies going on but I'm not sure that really counts...hahaha.

LOL Panda! I feel your pain....my toy collection has gotten out of hand, and I'm desperately lacking shelf space. XP Zainin, which Luts doll are you saving up for? I'm still butthurt because I couldn't afford their Scorpio doll. I'm a Scorpio and have a decent collection of scorpion stuff (I think I forgot to mention that in my earlier post) and WANTED that doll, but a thousand dollars is so far out of my price range it's not even funny. And that one with the goat hooves....I forget her name now, but I was obcessed with her for a little while. To be completely honest, that's one of the big points that drew me to MLP. I kept seeing things on DoA and went "Want!" but couldn't afford more than a couple dolls, and they nearly broke the bank as it is. But ponies are generally only a few bucks each, so I can actually collect them. And once I got started, I fell in love. Now I literally dream about ponies. *not trying to hijack thread, I promise*
